MIA: Nerd life, Vintagestargazer video, plans

Nerd Life

Once again I become so busy with school that I become the worst person to keep up with social networking websites such as instagram, facebook, and blogging :(. I apologize for any body who actually cares about what I post here. The only thing I have been updating is twitter, which is meepitsnessa :). I've only been posting nerdy thoughts so you probably haven't missed much. I spend about 12 hours at school two times a week, and all the other days I'm at school about 8 hours. Oh and I got hired for two new jobs so I currently have a lot on my plate.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day is tomorrow! Me and the 3 other girls in the physics department plan on giving all the guys including our teachers Valentine cards, candy, and gag gifts. If you watch The Big Bang Theory, you know the guys are nerdy and geeky and most have girls in their life. Well in the real world the geeky/ nerdy physics and engineering guys are all single, including our professors. I love my nerds so I came up with the idea for us girls to give Valentines so the guys don't have to experience another year without a Valentine :)

My boyfriend and I are a long distance relationship and we show each other love without the holiday so we aren't doing anything Valentines related.

My Birthday

I turn 21 on Feb 17th! Woo! I plan on having dinner and chilling with my close friends and relaxing on the four day weekend. I'm a pretty simple kind of girl and partying with 80% of people I hardly know is not my ideal for a birthday celebration. I will post another blog post with more details on how my birthday goes.

I'm sorry I haven't been around and this post was mainly words instead of pictures, but this is just an update on my life if you care to read.

Back to School Week

This Tuesday was my first day back to school for Spring semester. It was a great first day because I only had 4 hours of class time and I got a call that I was hired at Rubio's :D.

So I'm mainly excited that I will start working in February because I am broke and I could use the money to celebrate my 21st birthday :D. I am tired of being a broke college student even though most of my money will be going towards books, school supplies, sending applications, and gas. The sad thing about starting school again is that I can't slack off and do nothing anymore. I am also preparing to transfer so I have been busy with getting transcripts sent, supplemental applications done, and researching scholarships.

I haven't had time to upload pictures so I will update this post at the end of this week with pictures of my outfits from school :)

Tuesday

What I wore: Black pokadot/floral dress - handmedown, Black top - thrifted, Grey knee highs - Target, Burgundy scarf - thrifted, Black oxford shoes - thrifted.

Wednesday

What I wore: Red sparkle turtleneck sleeveless top - once my mothers, Black circle skirt - Forever 21, Black floral tights - Forever 21, Black and white plaid jacket - Wet Seal, Black oxford shoes - thrifted.

Thursday

What I wore: Stripped v-neck top - gifted, Blue tear drop earrings - gifted from mother, Hoodie cardigan - Volcom, Two toned denim button down - thrifted, Light wash jeans - Forever 21, Brown Suede ankle boots - Marshalls.

Friday

What I wore: Grey lace top, Black bell-sleeved dress - thrifted, Dark floral maxi skirt - thrifted, Black thigh highs - costume store, 2 black scarves - gifted from different people.

Camo Sophistication

This was my outfit of the day a few days ago. I cannot recall what shoes I wore that day because apparently I took these pictures before I stepped outside. And I apologize for the

lack of full body pictures. Anyways I feel that the suspenders and

turtleneck give a sophisticated military look

when paired with a camo jacket.

I just realized that my entire outfit was combined of thrifted and vintage pieces.

I think the cost of the clothes and branded clothes don't really matter.

What matters is if YOU like it and can create an amazing outfit :)
